Business Development Executive – IT Software Sales (Intern / Trainee)
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Trainee to start a career in IT software sales. The role covers lead generation, client outreach, follow-ups and support for business development across iLytix's IT services and solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Identify potential clients through LinkedIn, email, Upwork and other platforms
- Generate leads and reach out to prospective clients
- Support cold calling, email outreach and LinkedIn communication
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with the internal team
- Assist in preparing proposals, quotations and bids
- Follow up with prospects and maintain lead records
- Support the team in generating new business opportunities
Required skills
- Good spoken and written communication
- Good research and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets
- Interest in IT software sales and business development
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
Good to have
- Basic knowledge of LinkedIn, Upwork or lead-generation tools
- Internship or academic exposure to sales or business development
Education
- MBA (Marketing), B.Tech, MCA or an equivalent qualification
